in How To String Acoustic Guitar
Stringing an acoustic guitar is similar to any other kind of guitar except that the strings are attached to the guitar bridge by string pegs. Acoustic guitar strings are also all metal with 4 wound strings and 2 plain metal strings. See how to restring an acoustic guitar below.
Thanks for the video, I play in a lot of alternate tunings, so anything to prevent strings breaking is great. One question: when I make the first pass (the over-the-top wrap), the loop that is created often slips off the top of the post. This happens especially on the thinner-gauge strings. Any suggestions for keeping it down?
I was always told that you should replace the strings one at a time because it is not good to have no tension on the neck of the guitar. Not sure if this is a myth or not.
